Re-entering the workforce (as an older woman)

When I first re-entered the workplace full time, I bought myself the rings photographed above. I still wear them. They remind me to be:
  • Brave – stand up for the things that I believe in. I am Brave.
  • Enough – I bring a diversity of skills to the table and self talk that tells me the contrary, does not benefit anyone. I am Enough.

When confronting times happen in the work place, as inevitably they do, I touch them to remind myself of who I am and what I stand for.
